BBV butterfly valve features:

  • capability of the valve emergency closing in the stream of water at maximum flow rate
  • low head loss coefficient
  • special disk-seal profile
  • two rows of seals in the trunnion bearings
  • manually driven locking member for fixing the disk (to perform operations in a safe manner under the protection of the valve)
  • limit switches for the valve closed and open positions
  • electrical interlock to prevent the disk rotation until the locking member is open
